Reporting Structure & Location

Reporting to the Materials Manager the Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of receipt of goods material handling between manufacturing cells and warehouse and the shippi ng of product. This role will be located in Wood Dale Illinois United States and will be onsite .

In this role a typical day will look like :

Ensure timely and accurate receipt storage and distribution of raw materials and finished goods.

Monitor the loading and unloading of trucks ensuring proper handling documentation and storage of products.

Supervise and coordinate activities of the material handlers to enable manufacturing cells to have their raw material when its needed.

Maintain accurate records for inventory shipments and material moving throughout the warehouse.

Responsible for cycle counts inventory adjustments and inventory accuracy for the facility.

Oversee the safe operation and maintenance of forklifts pallet jacks cherry picker and other material handling equipment.

Collaborate with other departments (such as logistics buyer / planners global procurement and production) to ensure efficient workflow.

Develop and enforce standard operating procedures to optimize workflow and maximize efficiency.

Train develop and evaluate shipping and receiving staff; promote a culture of safety positive engagement and continuous improvement .

The essential requirements of the job include :

High school diploma or equivalent; associates or bachelors degree in logistics supply chain management or related field preferred.

5 years of experience in warehouse operations with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.

Knowledge of using an ERP system and basic computer skills.

Ability to lift and move objects up to 50lbs and operate warehouse equipment (forklifts pallet jacks etc).

Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associates position within the salary range will be based on several factors including but not limited to relevant education qualifications certifications experience skills seniority geographic location performance shift travel requirements sales or revenue-based metrics any collective bargaining agreements and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $40.00 - $45.00 USD per job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
