Job Description :
We are seeking a Histology Associate to support our laboratory operations. This role is ideal for someone with foundational knowledge of histology techniques and a strong interest in developing their skills further.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform basic histology techniques including embedding, microtomy (cutting thin tissue sections), coverslipping, processing, and primary staining (e.g., H&E).
- Operate laboratory and manufacturing equipment in compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and detailed directions for all tasks.
- Monitor and prepare bulk reagents and laboratory solutions.
- Assist in preparatory work for moderately complex histology procedures under the guidance of senior technicians.
