Here is what you will need :
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business, or related field.3+ years of experience in compensation analysis, preferably in healthcare or multi-state environments.Strong knowledge of compensation survey tools (e.g., Radford, Mercer, MarketPay, or similar).Advanced Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, modeling) and familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP, UKG). Also, Tableau or PowerBI experience would be helpful.Solid understanding of FLSA, wage and hour laws, and regulatory compliance in a multi-state environment.Analytical thinker with excellent attention to detail, ability to manage data integrity, and a strong sense of urgency.Clear communicator with the ability to explain compensation concepts to non-technical audiences.CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) or working toward certification preferred.Experience supporting clinical pay structures (e.g., technologists, radiologists, schedulers) preferred.Prior experience in high-growth, private equity-backed, or healthcare companies.A Day in the Life of a Compensation Analyst :
Compensation Benchmarking & AnalysisConduct market pricing and job evaluations using survey data and internal benchmarking tools to ensure competitive and equitable pay structures across clinical, contact center, and corporate roles.
Maintain and update compensation ranges for all job families, ensuring alignment with internal leveling and external market trends.Annual Compensation CycleSupport annual merit, incentive, and bonus programs including data modeling, eligibility tracking, communications, and tool administration.
Partner with Finance and HR leaders to run compensation scenarios and models based on company goals and growth plans.Job Architecture & LevelingAssist in developing and maintaining a job architecture framework that scales with company growth and provides clear career progression paths.
Partner with Talent Acquisition and Business Partners to align job offers with internal equity and compensation guidelines.Compliance & DocumentationEnsure compensation programs comply with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., FLSA, pay transparency laws, multi-state wage compliance).
Support internal audits and prepare documentation for internal and external reviews.Project & Process ImprovementParticipate in cross-functional initiatives to automate or streamline compensation workflows.
