MRI Technologist Part time or PRN

Orthopedic Specialists of SW Florida are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced MRI Technologist Part time afternoons to 6pm M-F or PRN to join our team. As an integral member of our healthcare facility, you will play a crucial role in performing MRI's in an office setting.

Orthopedic Specialists of SW Florida's state-of-the-art, 60,000 square-foot facility incorporates the latest in leading-edge technology in order to provide optimal care for patients who have bone, joint, muscle and spine problems. Our office includes a full Physical Therapy and Occupational / Hand Therapy division, which work in close coordination with our physicians to provide non-operative, preoperative, post-operative and preventive care.

Responsibilities :

• Conduct magnetic imaging ordered by physician
• Explain testing procedures and review safety paperwork
• Facilitate communication between radiologists and physicians
• Manage supply orders for the MRI department
• Transmit or print exams for further evaluation
• Adhere to equipment standards and care protocols
