Our client is one of the nations leading machine manufactures and they are looking to hire aField Service Engineerfor their Seattle region that has experience working on CNC Machine tools. This role will based out of the Washington office and requires a mix of travel and remote work.
Title : Field Service Engineer Location : Portland, OR Required skills and responsibilities :
- Provide customers with maintenance, repair, and installation assistance of machine tools via phone or going onsite
- Creating and updating documentation of technical information.
- Develop ongoing and ad-hoc special reports pertaining to Service
- Build strong customer service relationships with customers.
- Manage difficult customer situations in a positive manner and solicit customer feedback to improve service.
- Proven ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and sequence (PLC) ladder diagrams.
- Basic computer literacy and working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to travel % of the time to customer sites
