TX Optics Consolidated Manufacturing Center is seeking a dedicated CMM Technician / Programmer eager to learn optics manufacturing for a 1st shift position. The technician will be primarily responsible for setting up and operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) performing a variety of inspection operations to verify the quality and accuracy of optical components. This role may require the candidate to set up and operate other optical manufacturing equipment. The successful candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced shop with a low-volume high-mix environment.

What you will do :

• Set up and operate CMM to conduct precise measurements of optical components tooling and fixtures including :

Perform routine qualification as well as maintain equipment to ensure accurate and reliable performance including regular cleaning procedures.
