Old Dominion University is hiring an Electronic Resources Metadata Librarian . The Electronic Resources Metadata Librarian oversees and performs cataloging and electronic resources management activities to ensure that all of the Libraries’ electronic resources are fully integrated into our inventory and easily findable and accessible to all users. Position will be responsible for activating and managing new and existing e-resources, managing regular workflows and quality control for e-resources, identifying and leading projects for e-resources cataloging and record cleanup, serving as a resource for staff for difficult e-resource questions, working with the Resource Discovery Librarian on user access issues, and working with Resource Fulfillment / Acquisitions on new and cancelled subscriptions for e-resources.
