Family Birthing Center Nurse Manager

The Family Birthing Center Nurse Manager will join a not-for-profit acute-care community hospital recognized with a Leapfrog A grade for patient safety and high-performing maternity care designations. Reporting directly to senior nursing leadership, the Family Birthing Center Nurse Manager will oversee the daily operations and development of the Family Birthing Center team. This leader will collaborate with physicians, midwives, and neonatal care specialists while also guiding bedside nurses and support staff. Strong partnerships with interdisciplinary leaders will be central to achieving success in this role.

The Family Birthing Center Nurse Manager will oversee a 12-bed LDRP unit with a Level II nursery. The unit is known for its welcoming and supportive environment where families receive high-quality, personalized care. The role will provide the chance to work alongside outstanding OB / GYNs, neonatologists, and highly skilled nurses who share a passion for maternal and newborn health.

As Family Birthing Center Nurse Manager, responsibilities will include mentoring and supporting staff in clinical competencies, ensuring compliance with standards of care, and fostering a culture of continuous education and growth. On the administrative side, the role will involve oversight of budgets, staffing plans, and resource management to keep the unit running smoothly. Building strong relationships with physicians and hospital leaders will also be a key focus.
