About The Position

Pay Rate : $58.00 - $62.00 / Hourly.

Summary : The Cath Lab Technician assists cardiologists in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cardiac catheterization laboratory. The technician prepares patients and equipment, operates imaging and monitoring systems, and ensures procedural efficiency while maintaining patient safety.

Responsibilities :

• Assist cardiologists during cardiac catheterization procedures, including angiography, angioplasty, stent placement, and pacemaker / ICD implantations.
• Prepare, calibrate, and operate cardiac imaging equipment such as fluoroscopy, angiography, and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
• Monitor patient vital signs and cardiac rhythms during procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and assist in infection control practices in the Cath Lab.
• Troubleshoot and maintain equipment, ensuring all devices are functioning properly.
• Document procedures, patient data, and equipment usage according to hospital and regulatory standards.
