Senior Project Manager
Trillium Construction is now hiring a Senior Electrical Project Manager for a mission critical project in Robins, Iowa!
Our client, a nationally ranked electrical contractor, provides a full range of electrical services including residential, commercial, industrial, and utility work. This direct hire opportunity focuses on a high-profile mission critical project.
This role is 100% on-site in Robins, IA, and candidates must be local or willing to relocate.
As the Senior Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the full life cycle of large-scale electrical construction projects, with a focus on mission critical work. This is a field-oriented position that combines traditional project management with superintendent-level oversight of on-site labor and execution.
You'll work directly with internal teams and external partners to drive quality, safety, budget, and schedule performance. With support from a Project Management Assistant, you will lead planning, procurement, change management, financial tracking, subcontractor coordination, and ensure project documentation is accurate and complete.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee all aspects of electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Maintain project schedules, milestones, and critical paths
- Coordinate daily / weekly work plans and labor oversight
- Communicate effectively with field staff, vendors, GCs, and customers
- Ensure quality and safety compliance on all phases of the project
- Lead and support field crews, including mentoring and accountability
- Manage vendors and subcontractors, budgets, and productivity targets
- Monitor and report on financial performance and forecasts
- Coordinate inspections, approvals, and pay applications
- Use construction management software and scheduling tools
- Participate in closeout, performance reviews, and process improvements
