The Director, Strategy Advancement is a senior leader within CenterWell's Experience Transformation team, responsible for shaping and driving strategic initiatives that enhance patient experiences across the CenterWell organization. This role leads the development and execution of forward-looking strategies, governance frameworks, and human-centered design practices that align with enterprise priorities and deliver measurable value. The ideal candidate is a seasoned strategist with a consulting background, a high degree of emotional intelligence, and a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Strategy, Healthcare Administration, or related field
  • Minimum ten years of professional experience in healthcare or an adjacent field
  • Minimum of five years in management consulting or a similar strategic advisory role
  • Minimum of two years formal leadership experience
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex, enterprise-level initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a team of direct reports
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills
  • High emotional intelligence
  • Deep understanding of value realization, strategic planning, and portfolio management
  • Experience applying human-centered design methodologies in a strategic context
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in business
  • Experience in healthcare, payer / provider, or consumer experience transformation
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and digital transformation practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Additional Information

    100% remote role. Standard working hours required; 8 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm; must work Eastern Hours. Less than 25% annual travel to various Centerwell and Conviva markets.

    Work at Home Requirements

    To ensure Home or Hybrid Home / Office employees ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home / Office employees must meet the following criteria : At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested. Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership. Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense. Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home / Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position / job. Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

    Pay Range

    The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $168,000 - $231,000 per year
