Maintenance Planner - Hourly (Days)
The Maintenance Planner oversees the plant preventative maintenance program and the maintenance parts room.
The duties and responsibilities include :
- Maintain and execute the plant Preventative Maintenance Program.
- Organize, distribute and audit all work orders to maximize plant efficiency and minimize production down time.
- Ensure appropriate inventory levels in the maintenance parts room.
- Track all purchase orders to meet monthly budgets; assist Plant Maintenance Manager in the budgeting process through monthly reporting and review.
- Lead the Parts Expeditor / Clerk.
- Purchase needed parts through SAP and EBP; oversee and assist where required in the maintenance of the SAP PM database for plant.
- Arrange for disposal of hazardous chemicals.
- Coordinate annual inspections of all plant equipment.
- Coordinate weekly maintenance work planning and scheduling meetings.
The qualifications required include :
Three to five years of related maintenance experience is typically required.Highly skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.Vocational or associate degrees preferred.3 years Parts ordering / inventory management, industrial maintenance required.3 years Plant / Project / Construction Work Planning and Scheduling preferred.Prefer experience with Maximo.CMMS experience strongly preferred.Compensation : Starting pay ranges from $28.13 to $38.61 per hour, based on experience.
