Merchandise Planning Analyst

As a Merchandise Planning Analyst at the RealReal, you will be responsible for supporting demand & supply strategies across multiple categories, with a focus on our retail and new Virtual Inventory channels. The role will be focused on unlocking consumer insights through data in order to quickly and profitably grow these channels. Strong communication and analytical skills are key for success in this role as well as being able to work independently and with a team. This person will report into the Manager, Omni Planning.

What You Get To Do Every Day :

• Manage weekly business performance reporting for retail and Virtual channels; responsible for sharing out with key stakeholders and adjusting strategy where needed
• Support weekly reporting and recapping across multiple categories
• Support the development of new reporting and ways of analyzing business related to the retail and Virtual channels
• Perform ad hoc analysis to support business needs and communicating risks and opportunities
• Interpreting financial metrics to help develop recommendations and action plans to impact performance
• Support pre-season planning efforts and in-season forecasting
• Forge collaborative relationships with cross-functional partners including vendor, merchandising and pricing teams
• Work closely with store and site merch to help evaluate and enhance the customer shopping experience

The expected salary range for this role is $57,317.00-$68,952.00. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate's skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Additionally, salary is just one component of TRR's total rewards package. Depending on role, employees may also be eligible for a bonus program, incentive pay and benefits.
