Warehouse Dispatcher 2nd shift

The Role

The Dispatcher is responsible for the coordination of fulfilling orders which include the movement of goods and vehicles as well within the warehouse and to external destinations. This role ensures timely and efficient delivery of products working closely with the Receiving Department to manage incoming shipments cooling times icing procedures and related documentation. The Dispatcher also collaborates with the Shipping Supervisor to plan and execute daily workloads.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities ( any combination of the following job duties) :

• Uphold all food safety standards and immediately report any concerns regarding food safety or quality to the appropriate personnel.
• Monitor all email communication and respond with promptness while providing the highest levels of customer service.
• Monitor Shippers for all approved orders from the Sales Department .
• Provide support / relief to Appointment Scheduler in all tasks.
• Communicate with Sales to expedite shipments and carry out tasks assigned by the supervisor.
• Support the coordination of cross-dock load-only and return-to-grower (RTG) orders. (assigned by Shift Supervisor)
• Collaborate with Sales to assess inventory levels and adjust product orders as necessary.
• Monitor / Verify product availability in Shippers of incoming commodities and existing orders.
• Maintain and distribute daily reports and updates to relevant departments. (end of shift handoffs)
• Ensure accurate inventory control and report any discrepancies or issues.
• Resolve and report discrepancies short orders and shipping errors.
• Assist Order Builders in location of commodities while assembling orders.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures while maintaining a strong focus on customer service.

This is a safety-sensitive position.
