Hospice RN

Overview : Join AccentCare as a Hospice RN in Flowood. This is a full-time position with no remote / virtual option. The coverage area includes Hinds County and surrounding areas. The salary range is $25-35 per hour plus mileage.

Schedule : Monday to Friday. Offer based on years of experience.

• Conducts comprehensive nursing assessments and develops individualized care plans in coordination with the interdisciplinary team (IDG), addressing physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs
• Maintains timely and accurate documentation of care, interventions, and patient status updates, ensuring compliance with internal protocols and regulatory requirements
• Coordinates care activities including visit scheduling, medication management, physician collaboration, and interdisciplinary communication to ensure continuity and quality of care
• Provides education and support to patients and caregivers, and responds to urgent needs during on-call or admissions assignments
• Supervises LPNs, LVNs, and hospice aides as needed, and participates in IDG meetings, patient conferences, and ongoing clinical education
• Supports pre-hospice services by evaluating patient status via phone, telehealth, or in-person visits and identifying needs for additional care or services
