Mechanical Engineering Intern

Responsibilities

may include :

• KPI and Dashboard Development / Consolidation
• Use LEAN tools such as A3, 8D and 8-step to apply manufacturing best-practices / continual improvements
• Cross functional observation to identify and drive continuous improvements in cycle time, constraints, safety, efficiency, cost, etc.
• Assembly layout projects
• Supply weekly updates to supporting Manager on Project(s) status – with emphasis on schedule, project health and any concerns impactful to project(s) timeline.
• Generate documentation  / reports and present findings in a team meeting

Qualifications :

Competitive hourly pay commensurate with experience : $31 / hr-$42 / hr (subject to change dependent on physical location). Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Qorvo reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience / qualification of the selected candidate as well as external competitiveness and internal comparability.
