Job Summary

Join our dedicated team as an Experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist focused on Adult Respiratory Care. In this role, you will play a vital part in treating patients following physician orders and departmental policies, and will work independently in critical care environments.

We offer attractive sign-on bonuses for eligible full-time positions, including $7,500 for Direct Care Respiratory Therapists with one year of experience ($5,000 for those with less than one year). Accountabilities

Supervisory / Management Responsibility

This is a non-management position that reports to a supervisor or manager.

Minimum Requirements

Must be a graduate of a Respiratory Therapy program accredited by the American Medical Association or a senior student graduating within the next 3 months, eligible for licensure in South Carolina.

Required Certifications / Registrations / Licenses

Must hold a South Carolina Respiratory Care Practitioner license or be eligible for it, with BLS certification required. NBRC credentials must be maintained. Team members hired from June 2016 onwards must achieve the Registered Therapist cut score on the Therapist Multiple Choice Exam and complete the Clinical Simulation Exam within 6 months. NRP and PALS certifications are required in the Children's Hospital before working independently in the NICU and PICU.

Other Required Skills and Experience

Strong teamwork abilities alongside excellent communication, computer, and organizational skills are essential.
