Qualifications
FOR THE GS-11 GRADE LEVEL :
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector conducting quality assurance analysis, inspections, reviews, or audits of contractor operations, processes, performance, or materials to ensure compliance with established requirements for a shipbuilding program, project, or construction.
FOR THE GS-09 GRADE LEVEL :
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector assisting in the execution of quality assurance functions (e.g., inspections, reviews, audits, and contractor performance) for a shipbuilding program.

This announcement uses the Certain Personnel of the DoD direct hire authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
Physical Demands : Requires the ability to tour contractor's plants and naval vessels prior to, during, and after production phase; includes climbing ladders, entering confined spaces, bending, stooping, stretching to facilitate inspection, and may be subjected to high levels of noise, heat, and cold.
This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
