AZB Hotel Front Office Manager Arizona Charlie's Boulder
As the Hotel Front Office Manager, you are responsible for the daily operation and direct management of all activities within the Front Desk & RV Park departments. You are also the point of contact that ensures daily operations and experiences meet guest expectations by responding and managing any escalated concerns. Your leadership is the prime example of maintaining a positive environment for both guests and fellow team members.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities :
- Hire, train, develop, measure performance, discipline, and schedule department team members to ensure coverage based on business demands
- Lead the tactical execution of strategic initiatives under the direction of division leadership
- Establish standards of service within assigned departments and ensure achievement
- Monitor maintenance and appearance of assigned departments and provide suggestions for improvement as needed
- Assist with ongoing analysis of financial reports to monitor the profitability and expenses of Front Desk and RV Park Operations
- Investigate and resolve guest complaints and comments by following up with involved parties to resolve the matter to the guest's satisfaction
- Ensure groups are properly checked into the property
- Input payroll information to ensure team members are properly paid
- Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position
- Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements : Qualifications :
At least 2 years of experience in role with similar responsibilities or with relevant transferrable skills in a similar environment preferredOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsPrevious experience and success controlling labor costs and expensesPrevious customer service experience within the Bell / Baggage, Valet, or Front Desk departments preferredAnalytical ability required, including the basic ability to read and interpret financial statementsPrevious experience in LMS, UKG, and Stratton Warren preferredProficient in computer use, including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook preferredBasic ability to read and interpret financial statementsAbility to effectively communicate in small and large group settings as well as one-on-oneExperience providing high level of guest serviceAt least 21 Years of AgeHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredAbility to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbalObtain and maintain all work cards as required by the companyVerify right to work in the United StatesPhysical Requirements :
