What You'll Do : Assist with access control procedures for employees, contractors, and visitors at the location, following all site-specific policies and protocols. Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and offering guidance to individuals entering or exiting the premises. Help to deter unauthorized entry by monitoring entrances, exits, and other access points throughout the site. Respond calmly and with problem-solving skills to incidents and critical situations that may arise. Document and report all security-related incidents, activities, and irregularities according to company and client procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues. Maintain communication with Allied Universal management and the client's representatives regarding security-related matters. Be prepared to assist with emergency response activities as needed, following established protocols for the location. Minimum Requirements : A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located. At least one year of security-related experience is required. Applicant must be at least 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
