Our ENERCON Federal Services Group is looking to hire a Mechanical Engineering Associate Manager or Mechanical Engineering Manager. In this role, your leadership will not only drive project success, but it will also help us achieve overall business goals. This position can be located in one of the following locations :

- Aiken, SC
- Overland Park, KS
- Kennewick, WA
Responsibilities

You’re the key liaison, approving designs, mentoring engineers, and building strong client relationships. Leadership & Motivation : Lead teams with a positive attitude to achieve project goals aligned with ENERCON's excellence standards #LI-Sh7Collaboration & Coordination : Interface with clients to ensure quality and deadlines on exciting design projectsCommunication : Lead various internal engineering disciplines and delegate project rolesDesign & Estimating : Prepare design studies, scopes, and engineering estimatesProcurement & Specifications : Develop mechanical system procurement specs, evaluate bids, and select equipmentTechnical Expertise : Perform mechanical, HVAC, hydraulic, piping system calculations and solve complex technical problemsField Engagement : Travel for walkdowns, field installations, and start-upQualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university, or equivalent work and training in a related roleAssociate Manager : Minimum of 3 years of design engineering experience in Nuclear, Federal, DOE, Industrial or power generation and EIT, 5 years of experience preferredManager : Minimum of 6 years of design engineering experience with 2 years of leadership and professional engineering licenseWriting, presentation and communication skillsProficient in Word and ExcelAdditional Information
