To accommodate our continued growth, we are seeking a Survey Technician to assist our survey team with field data collection and mapping to support civil engineering, transportation, and site development projects. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, using technology, and contributing to projects that range from small site surveys to large infrastructure developments. Job activities will primarily focus on control surveys, boundary surveys, topographic surveys, ALTA / NSPS land title surveys, hydraulic surveys, and construction staking. Survey will be your primary focus, however, you may also be asked to assist with construction observation projects, GIS data collection, and roof anchor load testing.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School diploma and valid driver's license
• 2+ years of surveying or related field experience preferred
• Experience with GPS, total stations, and data collectors
• Strong math and organizational skills
• Must be able to pass a background check to obtain security badge clearance
• Ability to work in inclement weather, lift heavy loads, and walk / stand for an entire day
• Ability to work outdoors in varying field conditions and travel to project sites (including occasional out of town work)
