job_description.job_card.job_descriptionOversee the computing environment by identifying system requirements installing upgrades and monitoring performance. Perform hands-on upgrades and maintenance of hardware and software across workstations and servers. Integrate technology solutions into business workflows to enhance productivity and efficiency. Research design and implement cost-effective IT projects to meet emerging organizational needs. Maintain accurate infrastructure documentation and change management records. Provide weekly written status reports to the Chief Engineer and President. Collaborate with users to define system specifications based on workflow access and security needs. Ensure compliance with NIST standards including Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) isolation protocols. Plan and execute installation configuration and testing of PC / server hardware software LAN / WAN networks and system management tools. Monitor and optimize system performance through analysis tuning and stress / load testing. Troubleshoot hardware software and network issues escalating to vendors when necessary. Develop and test disaster recovery plans manage system access controls and maintain backup protocols. Design and deliver user training programs including reference materials and ongoing support. Collaborate with vendors to evaluate and implement system upgrades and new software solutions. Build and maintain internal databases and software applications ensuring reliable data backup processes. Partner with the Facility Security Officer (FSO) to meet all compliance requirements. Current IT security certification (CISSP preferred) Knowledge of : Proven ability to : Willingness to work extended hours when necessary Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible for (or currently hold) a U.S. Department of Defense security clearance
Responsibility :
Cybersecurity & Compliance
- Develop and maintain system security documentation including security plans control implementation summaries and boundary diagrams.
- Monitor and adapt to evolving CMMC and DFARS requirements ensuring internal policies and procedures remain compliant.
- Lead assessment readiness efforts by coordinating cross-functional teams managing timelines and reporting progress to senior leadership.
- Draft update and implement cybersecurity policies procedures and training materials based on assessment outcomes.
