Essential Duties and Responsibities

• Walk the warehouse and cold rooms (including the Repack and Partials room) multiple times daily inspecting the overall quality of ALL inventories in the facility.  This includes opening cases checking receiving dates and proper case rotation in the pick slots.
• Work with Warehouse staff to check back stock products on upper- tier racking
• Work with Sales and Buying departments to recommend movement of product to Repack Department and / or clearance.
• Work closely with Buyers QA and Operations to communicate needs and opportunities
• Participate in internal and external Quality audits.  Assist with third party and customer audits to obtain or maintain certifications.
• Report to management on quality and food safety issues and trends
• Other duties as assigned
