Network Manager

The Goizueta Business School is seeking an experienced Network Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will have 5+ years of experience providing advanced technical support for server environments, with a strong background in virtualization technologies and application development in a multi-user environment. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in Windows / Linux Operating Systems management, possess expertise in Active Directory support, and have experience in cloud, virtualization, and storage area network maintenance. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manages and supervises staff and operations in an Information Technology (IT) area.
• Advises management on issues within a specific IT area to ensure compliance and uniform systems across the division and enterprise.
• Works closely with other area managers and directors to ensure smooth and transparent processes and systems.
• Designs information systems and procedures to support division operations.
• Hires, trains and supervises staff.
• Performs related responsibilities as required.

Note : This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs. Schedule is based on agreed upon guidelines of department. This role requires residency in the state of GA. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
