As a Machinist at Philips you will support the development of next-generation oral healthcare products (Sonicare) by creating engineering this role you have an opportunity to directly impact lives of people around the worldand help solve some of the toughest challenges affecting us today.

Your role :

• Successfully complete CNC Programming with SURFCAM and job set-up and CNC machining on HAAS 3 and 5-axis machines. Deliver finished parts from 3D CAD models.
• Manufacture or modify engineering prototypes mechanical parts tooling and fixtures based on 3D models drawings sketches and engineering instructions.
• Design jigs fixtures and tooling using Solidworks 3D CAD Software.
• Consult with project engineers on part design and manufacturability when appropriate. Collaborate with engineering teams provide feedback and make recommendations to solve complex problems.
• Provide occasional support to the broader team such as : assisting with R&D Lab projects producing cross-sectional acrylic casting for engineering evaluations or fabricating 3D printed parts with Stratasys printers. (for example).
• This position is required to be onsite 5 days per week with occasional remote work flexibility.

Strong machining mechanical aptitude mathematical skills and an understanding of fundamental programming and machining principles.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the companys facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the companys main facilities generally at the customers or suppliers locations.

This is an onsite role.

The pay range for this position in Bothell WA is $30.05-$48.07 per hour.

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge / skills experience business needs geographical location and internal equity.

In addition other compensation such as an annual incentive bonus sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. At Philips it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
