The Student Success & Program Coordinator serves a dual role providing holistic student advising and academic support for the Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) program while also functioning as the student support lead for the Dodge Family College of Arts and Sciences Online Programs Office. Within the CMHC program this position supports students through personalized advising practicum and internship coordination site approval management and accreditation-related documentation and processes. As student success lead the position provides leadership in strategic student outreach retention planning and high-impact student support in collaboration with program directors and advising staff across graduate online programs.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
Lead student success engagement and retention initiatives across graduate online programs in partnership with program leadership and university stakeholders.
Develop and implement strategies that improve the student experience strengthen retention and support timely degree completion.
Analyze student data and trends to inform outreach resource allocation and continuous improvement efforts.
Provide proactive academic advising and individualized support to CMHC students on enrollment policies and academic planning.
Serve as a key contact for complex student issues coordinating resolutions with faculty program directors and university support units.
Oversee CMHC practicum and internship site approvals record management and compliance processes in collaboration with the Clinical Coordinator.
Support CMHC accreditation and reporting activities ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to CACREP and institutional standards.
Manage CMHC communication logistics and onboarding for student interviews orientations residencies and key academic milestones.
Streamline advising and operational workflows to enhance efficiency consistency and service quality.
Contribute to strategic projects and cross-functional initiatives that advance graduate online program goals and student outcomes.
Performs related duties as assigned or as required to successfully fulfill functions of the position.
