Role : Application Security Engineer (Contract)

About the Role

Join our Cybersecurity Research team as a hands-on contributor driving secure application development through rigorous testing and analysis. You’ll conduct penetration testing, identify vulnerabilities, and partner with engineering and security stakeholders to improve application resilience.

Responsibilities

Perform manual and automated penetration testing for web applications and APIs

Configure and optimize dynamic analysis tools for accurate scanning

Analyze scan results, triage false positives, and validate vulnerabilities

Deliver detailed technical reports outlining defects and recommendations

Collaborate with development teams to guide remediation and improve security posture

Minimum Qualifications

4+ years of experience in Cybersecurity Research or related field

Proven expertise in Application Penetration Testing and Dynamic Application Security Testing

Strong understanding of security policies, compliance requirements, and vulnerability triage

Ability to navigate complex security challenges and communicate effectively across teams
