Financial Analyst
Location : Palm Beach, FL (Relocation Required)
Note : This position is for our Palm Beach, FL office and not our Nashville, TN office.
Overview :
We are a privately held family company seeking a Financial Analyst to join our investment team focusing on public and private equities. This role is ideal for a recent graduate with strong analytical skills, a quantitative background, and an interest in financial markets. The Analyst will support the evaluation of investment opportunities across asset classes, build and maintain financial models, listen to and summarize earnings calls, attend investor presentations and industry conferences, and prepare research for internal decision-making. We would also consider current interested Undergraduate / Graduate seniors for a part-time internship role that would transition to a full-time Analyst role.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct market and investment research to identify and evaluate new opportunities in public and private markets
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models, including DCF, comparables, and scenario analyses
- Perform commercial analysis of companies, markets, and sectors, assessing growth drivers, risks, and competitive positioning
- Listen to earnings calls and listen to or attend investor presentations and industry conferences; prepare concise written and verbal summaries for the investment team
- Travel as needed to attend financial conferences, investor events, and company site visits
- Monitor and track portfolio holdings, market trends, and macroeconomic developments
- Prepare high-quality presentation materials to support investment evaluation and portfolio monitoring
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s or graduate degree (completed or expected by Spring 2026) in a quantitative or analytical field such as Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or BusinessStrong mathematical and analytical skillsProficiency in Excel and PowerPointFamiliarity with financial modeling and valuation techniques preferred but not requiredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHighly motivated self-starter, adaptable to changing responsibilities, and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentPrior internships or relevant experience in finance, consulting, or investment management preferred but not requiredWillingness to relocate to South FloridaWillingness to travel for conferences, investor events, and company meetingsCompensation & Benefits :
