POSITION : Dialysis Technician Instructor (Adjunct)

Medical Training Institute of New York is currently recruiting for an experienced Adjunct faculty member in the Hemodialysis / Dialysis Technician Program that exhibits strong communication skills with the willingness to train students to become Certified Dialysis Technician.

Candidates must have experience teaching in a classroom or / and in a synchronous environment and have a minimum of 2 years in Hemodialysis / Dialysis Practice .

This is a part-time teaching position to begin immediately and will provide instruction in the classroom and online with a laboratory setting. You should be fully committed to the Mission and Values of the Medical Training Institute of New York

JOB SUMMARY : Under the supervision of the Nurse program Director, the Hemodialysis / Dialysis Technician Instructor will teach the didactic and clinical components of a curriculum designed to help students build knowledge and clinical skills aimed at enabling students to be employed as successful Hemodialysis / Dialysis technicians and provide preparation for the passing the national competency exam.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education :

LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION CCHT / CHT

Certification by one of the nationally recognized certification agencies (NNCC or BONENT) is required. Must have a current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider or AHA BLS Instructor Provider card.
