Production Engineering Planner

Job Description :

Apex Systems is seeking Manufacturing Planners to support the a Production Engineering Program for the Goverment. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining manufacturing documentation and strategies that align with production and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing plans, Bills of Materials (BOMs), work instructions, and visual aids to document as-built configurations.
• Create and refine manufacturing strategies to support program goals.
• Integrate suppliers, processes, materials, data, and technologies to meet production and delivery requirements.
• Review and approve supplier data to ensure compliance with manufacturing standards.
• Define and manage tooling requirements from design through end-of-use disposition.
• Investigate and resolve manufacturing-related issues.
• Conduct producibility assessments for parts and product designs.
• Provide input to improve design, manufacturing processes, and technologies to meet cost and schedule targets.
• Develop integrated work statements and event sequencing to support delivery commitments.
• Draft, update, and review procedures to meet business and regulatory requirements.
• Work under general direction with a focus on continuous improvement and collaboration.
