Our client is a well established Builder / developer in Ohio. With a focus on Multi-family projects. This firm is working on some of Ohio's most prominent Multifamily developments. Their commitment to employee success is unparalleled, and they are looking for a strong Assistant Superintendent to grow and develop with their resources and expertise into a Lead Superintendent role and beyond.

Job Description

• Leading and managing the on-site construction team.
• Coordinating and overseeing all work on site.
• Responsible for project punch out work.
• Attending production meetings.
• Reviewing and becoming familiar with the schedule and budget, and ensuring adherence to these.
• Ensuring quality standards are met.
• Placing orders for materials, and being responsible for equipment and materials on site.
• Following the project time line to ensure deadlines are met.
• Monitoring and ensuring on-site safety compliance, cleanliness and orderliness.
• Maintaining records for site personnel such as daily field reports, field orders and RFIs.
• Liaising with inspection authorities regarding approvals.

The Successful Applicant

• 2+ years of experience with a Multifamily contractor or equivalent industry experience
• Demonstrated leadership ability of project teams with successful outcomes
• In depth knowledge of the construction process including scheduling, contract administration, equipment, and manpower
• Proficient in basic use and functions of a personal computer
• OSHA 30-Hour Certification
• Experience with Scheduling
• Good time management skills
• The ability to work in a fast paced environment
