Technical Writer Job at Our Company in Huntsville

Overview :

Signalink is looking to hire a mid-level Technical Writer to join our Army product office and serve as the final gatekeeper for all external documentation. Ensure every Statement of Work, Justification & Approval, white paper, CRP, and related deliverable is accurate, Army-compliant, and publication-ready before it leaves the office.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, edit, and approve all outgoing documentation for technical accuracy, Army style, and regulatory compliance
• Author and refine documents such as Statements of Work (SOWs), Justifications & Approvals (J&As), white papers, and Contract Review Packages (CRPs), and Acquisition Strategies
• Maintain and update our centralized Army acronym and abbreviation glossary
• Enforce formatting and content requirements per military and DoD documentation standards (e.g., MIL-STD, DI-guides)
• Collaborate with program managers, systems engineers, logisticians, and contracting officers to gather input and validate technical content
• Track document versions, manage configuration-control processes, and ensure timely delivery
• Identify gaps or inconsistencies in source material and drive resolution through clear, action-oriented feedback
