Rheumatologist

Rheumatologist opportunity in Nashville, Tennessee

Wonderful opportunity to work closely with other healthcare professionals, including primary care physicians, orthopedic surgeons, and physical therapists, to ensure coordinated care in a community hospital setting, level 3 trauma, 150 beds with 560 full-time employees

Responsibilities Include :

• Conduct detailed assessments of patients with rheumatic and autoimmune conditions, including arthritis, lupus, and vasculitis.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient history, clinical findings, and diagnostic results.
• Perform joint injections, aspiration procedures, and other rheumatologic interventions.
• Interpret laboratory tests and imaging studies related to rheumatic diseases.
• Manage chronic conditions, including disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drugs (DMARDs) and biologics therapy.
• Provide patients with education on disease management, medication use, and lifestyle modifications.
