The Registered Nurse - NICU cares for newborn babies who are delivered pre-term or at-term newborns who experience complications at the time of birth. The Registered Nurse - NICU provides intensive around-the-clock care, including both medical needs and basic daily care activities.
BLS, NRP - required
Dependent and Child Abuse certifications - can be obtained during onboarding
Will accept 1st time traveler
May float to general pediatrics and PICU
Current Registered Nurse license for the state in which the nurse practices
One year NICU experience required
NRP card per contract requirement
Current CPR if applicable
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
Travel and Local pay rates are available for those who are interested in applying
Nights : 3x12 hr shifts, 36 hrs / week - No call Every 3rd weekend including holiday rotation
Weekend Requirements :
Every 3rd weekend including holiday rotation if scheduled
Winter holidays : Required to work 2 of 3 (Christmas, New Years, or Thanksgiving)
Limit of 1 day request off between 11 / 26 / 25-11 / 30 / 25 and 12 / 23 / 25-1 / 2 / 26 for all travelers regardless of holidays worked.
