Certified HCC Coding Specialist

A company is looking for an HCC Coding Quality Specialist responsible for reviewing the accuracy of HCC coded records. Key Responsibilities Review and ensure accuracy of HCC coded records according to Medicare and ICD-10-CM guidelines Support findings to help coders identify and learn from errors Maintain a quality score of 95% or higher and comply with all privacy and security regulations Required Qualifications, Training, and Education Must be certified through AAPC or AHIMA (CPC, CRC, CCS, or CCS-P) At least 3 years of HCC coding experience with 2 years of auditing experience Working knowledge of EMRs, billing systems, and abstraction platforms Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook Ability to work independently from home with a reliable internet connection
