Job Summary :
The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing healthcare projects from inception to completion. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, developing, and administering efficient meeting and reporting processes, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
Education :
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, health care management or a related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
Registration / Certification / Licensure :
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
Experience :
Proven experience in project management including successful project completion. required. Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of project management principles and practices.
Other Requirements :
Maintains unit-specific and hospital competencies, mandatory learning, and any clinical certifications required in accordance with the Staff Education and Training policy GA-057 and / or any other department requirements.
Effectively advocates for quality patient safety and satisfaction as a daily practice.
Demonstrated proficiency of computer skills necessary to effectively complete position requirements to include Microsoft Office applications with an emphasis on Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Word, Teams, and Outlook.
Ability to work independently, prioritize concurrent projects, meet deadlines, follow through with deliverables, and produce quality work.and / or any other department requirements.
Strong problem solving skills, interpersonal skills, leadership skills, flexibility, organization and detail orientation.
