The Reporting & Business Intelligence Team is currently seeking a dynamic individual to put our clients first as a Business Intelligence Analyst in our Baltimore office.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Generates monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reports for our private client and institutional relationships
- Produces custom business-segment and / or firm analytics for managerial reporting on a regular or ad-hoc basis
- Analyzes and interprets relevant investment data, including portfolio positions, transactions, and performance
- Develops, communicates, and / or expounds reports and analysis for internal and external stakeholders
- Troubleshoots any reporting or operational process errors, then propose and implement solutions
- Manages projects to create or improves reporting content and / or advance strategic business goals
- Provides support, innovation, and project consultation for multiple business segments
- Ability to draw own conclusions, articulate positions, communicate key messages, make recommendations, and influence in a team
- Develops industry insights through proactive networking, conference attendance, and independent research
- Performs other duties of a similar or related level and assists with special projects as necessary or assigned
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field preferred2+ years of analyst or operations experience2+ years of direct experience with FactSet (PA3, SPAR, IRN, etc.)Experience producing attribution and risk reporting in support of US and International equity and fixed income productsStrong Excel knowledge working with large data setsExtremely detail-orientedExcellent client service focus and high touch experience requiredDemonstrated ability to proactively problem solve employing independent judgment in decision-makingStrong organization and time-management skillsStrong communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to work under pressure with multiple priorities and a sense of urgencyAbility to meet time-sensitive deadlines and work effectively and efficiently in a very fast paced, dynamic work environmentAbility to work in a team environment, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, adapt quickly to changes and complete last-minute requests as neededDemonstrated aptitude for numbers and quantitative proficiencyAbility to handle highly sensitive client information with discretionAbility to work in office five days weeklyDesired Qualifications
Prior experience within the financial services industryExperience with TableauExperience with Snowflake and / or SQLKnowledge of Advent Software or other portfolio management systemsExperience with Client or Firm ReportingMD Salary : $78-$90k. Commensurate with experience and location. Does not include bonus or long term incentive eligibility (if applicable).
