Principal Civil Engineering Project Manager

A leading engineering firm in Riverside, California seeks an experienced Principal Project Engineer to lead high-impact infrastructure and development projects. This senior-level position offers the opportunity to manage complex civil engineering initiatives while mentoring the next generation of engineers in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

Essential Responsibilities :

Direct and oversee multiple civil engineering projects from conception through completion
Lead and mentor technical design teams, fostering professional development
Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure successful delivery
Develop and maintain client relationships while securing new business opportunities
Oversee preparation of engineering plans, specifications, and construction documents
Coordinate with regulatory agencies and stakeholders for project approvals
Ensure technical excellence and quality control throughout project lifecycle

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

California PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months

10+ years of progressive civil engineering experience

Proven track record managing complex infrastructure projects

Expert knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and engineering software

Strong understanding of California regulations and building codes

Exceptional communication and leadership abilities
