The RN, Perioperative QA Coordinator will report to the Director- Patient Safety, Quality and Accreditation. The RN, Perioperative QA Coordinator will assist with routine regulatory compliance auditing, coordinate the Surgical Service Division Quality program. The RN, Perioperative QA Coordinator, Interprets and implements quality assurance standards in the perioperative setting to ensure quality patient care. Reviews quality assurance standards, and audits existing policies and procedures to ensure they meet evidence-based best practice. Conducts audits to evaluate effectiveness patient safety & quality improvement initiatives as well as regulatory requirements. The QA Coordinator will co-chair the surgical quality committee, ensuring use of data driven strategies for quality improvement. Employee will ensure meeting minutes are distributed and reviewed by necessary parties for approval and / or discussion. This position will work in conjunction with the Surgical Division Leadership to maintain the highest standard of patient care.
Education : Required :
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or health related field
Preferred :
Master's degree in nursing or health related field.
