Heavy Equipment Operator

The Heavy Equipment Operator will be responsible for operating various equipment on-site, including front-end loaders, all-terrain forklifts, skid steers, and excavators. Versatility in operating multiple types of equipment is preferred. Candidates must also be willing to work as a laborer when not operating equipment, as this role involves more than just equipment operation.

Responsibilities :

• Operate heavy equipment such as front-end loaders, all-terrain forklifts, skid steers, and excavators.
• Work as a laborer during non-operating times.
• Ensure equipment is operated safely and efficiently on the construction site.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment.

Work Environment :

The position requires working 70-hour weeks from Monday to Saturday, with shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM for day shift operators and 7 PM to 7 AM for night shift operators. The work involves both operating heavy machinery and performing labor tasks as needed. A reliable mode of transportation is necessary to commute to the job site.

Job Type & Location :

This is a contract position based out of El Paso, TX.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
