Primary Responsibilities and Expectations :

• Performs various engineering related calculations and analyses in the application of the basic design criteria necessary to complete assigned projects.
• Support the development of traffic projections, transportation analysis, and / or transportation planning evaluations using various traffic analysis software programs.
• Assists the lead engineer or manager in estimating and tracking project costs.
• Coordinates the preparation of data tabulation / evaluation and reports and assists in report production and development of engineering designs and specifications.
• Provide quality control / quality assurance consistent with Company and Department standards and the requirements of our clients and regulatory agencies.
• Performs field assignments including site inspections and conducting field assessments of properties.
• Maintains field notes and photo documentation as required.
• Assists with client contact and communication pertaining to specific tasks.

Requirements

Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and E.I. certificate in the state where this person’s work is primarily performed or an Associate’s Degree or Technical Certification in a related field.

Experience : Zero - four years of overall and progressively responsible experience with public and private sector projects, ideally in the A / E / C industry.
