We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Service Technician of a residential apartment community located in Washington, DC (Brookland Manor).

Responsibilities :

Respond to tenant requests for repairs and maintenance in a timely and professional manner

Conduct regular inspections of apartments and common areas to identify and address maintenance issues

Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed

Assist with apartment turnovers, including cleaning, painting, and other tasks as needed

Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and building codes

Cover on-call emergencies

Requirements :

Good written and verbal communication skills

Strong knowledge of maintenance, plumbing, minor electrical, drywall repair, painting, HVAC, and appliance repair

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Must have some tools as well as reliable transportation

Must be able to lift and / or move up to 50 pounds

A minimum of two (2) years related experience and / or training in apartment maintenance is preferred

Ability to multitask and maintain a professional appearance

Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred
