Kelly Mobile Services is a family-owned company that has proudly supported the medical imaging industry since 1985. We are seeking a skilled Route Coordinator to manage dispatch operations for our driver team.

This role is different from traditional trucking—challenging yet highly rewarding. Every delivery we make helps patients access life-saving diagnostic care. While dispatching will be your primary responsibility, there may be times you’ll step in as a Relief Driver to support customer needs.

At Kelly Mobile Services, we specialize in transporting advanced mobile medical imaging units—MRI, CT, PET, and more—to hospitals, clinics, and healthcare facilities. Our dispatchers and drivers play a vital role in ensuring these services reach the communities that depend on them.

Pay

Salary based on experience, skills, and willingness to travel

Responsibilities : Dispatching

Schedule and assign drivers for pickups, deliveries, and relocations of mobile imaging trailers

Monitor driver locations, trailer movements, and delivery status via GPS / dispatch software

Adjust schedules quickly to meet hospital / clinic needs or urgent requests

Communicate clearly with customers to ensure smooth delivery and placement of units

Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, hours-of-service rules, and company policies

Maintain accurate records of routes, schedules, and service times

Provide real-time support and problem-solving for drivers on the road

Participate in a weekend on-call rotation to respond to urgent customer or driver needs

Driving (Relief / As Needed)

Step in to support customer needs during emergencies, vacations, or heavy schedules

Safely transport mobile imaging trailers to hospitals, clinics, and medical facilities

Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, ensuring vehicles and trailers are road-ready

Maneuver and position trailers with precision at healthcare sites

Protect sensitive medical equipment during transport

Complete trip logs, delivery paperwork, and inspection records accurately

Represent the company professionally with customers and healthcare staff

Qualifications

Proven ability to schedule, route, and dispatch drivers effectively

Experience with Transportation Management Software (TMS)

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills

Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record

Experience hauling large or specialized trailers (medical, oversized, or heavy haul preferred)

Dispatching or logistics experience strongly preferred

Knowledge of DOT safety regulations and compliance

Professionalism when working in hospital and healthcare environments

Flexibility to participate in a weekend on-call rotation
