Working knowledge of repairing buildings / structures At least 21 years of age Valid driver's license Clean and current DMV printout Currently possess or can obtain OSHA 10 Ability to stand for long periods Effectively use a variety of hand and power tools Follow oral and / or written instructions : maintain work logs Ability to maintain a cooperative and effective working relationship with those contacted in the course of work assignments Ability to bend and lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to work flexible hours.
Description
- Perform a variety of work in the maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds at various facilities including, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and ground maintenance.
- Repair and treat structures such as floors, sinks, walls, roofs.
- Perform minor troubleshooting i.e. : repair and adjustment of doors, cabinets, locks, shelves, chairs.
- Change filters on AC / Heating units.
- Connect, install, and service appliances.
- Report mechanical malfunctions to appropriate party for repair.
- Move furniture and equipment at various facilities / sites.
- Assist in obtaining quotes and arranging for services of outside vendors.
- Update work logs for specific site requirements.
- Respond to alarm calls as assigned.
- Follow all Company policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
