STRONG NEURO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Ratio 1 : 3-4

Rotating shifts

Description : Infant / Peds

Common Diagnosis / Treatment : Seizures, TBI, trauma, muscular dystrophies, encephalitis, neurosurgical (VP shunt, hydrocephalus, craniosynostosis),Guillain-Barre, chronic genetic disorders with a seizure component, overflow med / surg

Special Procedures : routing nursing (LP assistance, MRI accompaniment, IvIG infusions etc.)

Airway / Respiratory by indicating types of treatment or care / support provided to patients within the unit : Trach Care;Chest Tube Set-up / CareDrains;Epidural Pumps;EVD / ICP;Feeding Tubes;PCA Pumps;PICC / Central Lines;Syringe Pumps;Traction / Halo / Pin Care;Wound VacOur unit does use low-dose Ketamine drips on occasion
