Gradient Mechanical Assembler

Our client, a leader in the medical equipment industry, is seeking a Gradient Mechanical Assembler to join their team. As a Gradient Mechanical Assembler, you will be part of the production department supporting the electronic repair team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title : Gradient Mechanical Assembler

Location : Peabody, MA (This company will be relocating to Salem, NH. It is necessary for this role that you have your own transportation to both locations.)

Pay Range : $20 - $23 (Based on skills and experience)

Shift : 9 / 80 Schedule, Monday to Friday, flexible start time from 6-7am with every other Friday off

What's the Job?

  • Assemble and teardown complex medical equipment using operational method sheets, blueprints, and verbal instructions.
  • Utilize hand tools and perform testing and repair operations, including resistance checks and pressure testing.
  • Read and interpret complex engineering drawings and incorporate engineering change orders.
  • Collaborate with technicians to ensure assemblies are repaired and updated to the correct revision levels.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety practices and standards.

What's Needed?

  • Proven ability to complete tasks effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Strong ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with 5+ years of related experience.
  • Knowledge of SAP and / or Agile is a plus, but not required.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
