Sales Executive

We are a dynamic, growing technology services firm based in Hackensack, New Jersey, that provides comprehensive IT solutions to small- and mid-sized businesses across the tri-state area. As we continue expanding, we're seeking a driven, experienced Sales Executive to join our team and help lead our next stage of growth. This is not a passive role. We are looking for someone who lives and breathes business developmenta self-starter who has built pipelines from scratch, delivered real results, and understands how to turn conversations into contracts. You'll be joining a team with a strong operational backbone and a large list of dormant leads that can be revived. But we're not hiring a closerwe're hiring a builder. Someone who can step into this role with a sharp strategy, a proven track record, and an instinct for creating momentum where others stall.

This is a full-time, in-office role based out of our Hackensack headquarters. You'll be expected to be in the office daily and out in the field regularlymeeting clients, attending industry events, scheduling face-to-face conversations, and even knocking on doors when needed. This is a hands-on, active role meant for someone who wants to be in front of people, not behind a desk all day.

You'll be responsible for identifying and acquiring new clients in our core industriesreal estate, ABA therapy, and financial services. These are industries with high standards and unique challenges, so your approach needs to be consultative and solutions-focused. You should be comfortable engaging senior decision-makers, understanding their technical environments and pain points, and translating our service offerings into clear, customized solutions.

This role demands someone who is both a hunter and a strategist. You'll have access to a significant pipeline of past prospects, inquiries, and prior leads that have gone cold or slipped through the cracks. A big part of your early success will come from reactivating these contacts and creating movement where others haven't. But long term, you will be measured on your ability to consistently generate net new leads and deals. That means building relationships from scratch, opening new doors, and consistently planting seeds that lead to future business.

We're not looking for someone who just talks the talk. We're looking for someone who's been in the trenches and has closed serious dealssomeone who can walk into a business, understand their IT situation, and quickly identify whether we can provide a better path forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of new business opportunities in our target verticals (real estate, ABA therapy, finance).
  • Consistently self-generate leads through outreach, cold calling, email, networking, door-to-door visits, and attendance at relevant industry events and trade shows.
  • Revive, nurture, and convert a large backlog of warm and cold leads the company has accumulated over time.
  • Conduct discovery meetings and consultative sales conversations with owners, directors, and executivesdiagnosing business needs and proposing tailored IT solutions.
  • Create and deliver compelling presentations that clearly articulate our value proposition and technical capabilities.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our service offerings, how they apply to industry-specific needs, and how to position them in competitive situations.
  • Maintain detailed, accurate records of all sales activity and client interactions in the CRM system.
  • Report regularly to leadership on pipeline status, key conversations, closed deals, and competitive insights.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as defined by leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of proven B2B sales experience, ideally in IT services, tech, or another consultative, service-driven vertical.
  • Demonstrated history of success in generating your own leads and delivering measurable, revenue-generating results.
  • Experience selling into any of the following sectors : real estate, healthcare (especially ABA therapy), finance, insurance, or legal.
  • Ability to confidently navigate conversations with business owners, executives, practice managers, and senior stakeholders.
  • Consultative sales approachcan identify pain points, craft solutions, and close based on value rather than volume.
  • Comfortable with full-cycle sales : prospecting, outreach, meetings, follow-up, proposals, and close.
  • High level of professional polish, strong verbal and written communication skills, and ability to represent the company externally.
  • Must be comfortable working full-time in the office and spending time outside of it for meetings, networking, and outreach.
  • Must have a strong work ethic, internal drive, and personal accountability to own outcomes and hit targets.
  • Compensation

  • Base Salary : $100,000
  • Commission : Additional commission structure tied directly to performance and new business closed.
