- Salary : Negotiable and based on experience
- Schedule : The clinic is open Monday through Friday 8am to 6pm. 32-36 hours per week to maintain full-time status, but is not required to work 5 days a week

Position Overview :
We are currently seeking an Experienced Veterinary Surgery Technician to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate is confident, detail-oriented, and thrives in a busy surgical setting. You'll work closely with our veterinarians and support staff to ensure surgical procedures are performed safely and efficiently, while also contributing to the overall patient care experience.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform and assist with pre-operative patient preparation including IV catheter placement, intubation, and surgical site prepAdminister and monitor anesthesia during surgical procedures, adjusting levels as needed for patient safety and comfortMonitor patient vitals (HR, RR, SpO2, BP, temp) throughout procedures and recoveryMaintain accurate anesthesia and surgical recordsSupport veterinarians with a variety of soft tissue and routine surgeriesAssist with patient recovery, post-op care, and client education as neededPerform routine clinical tasks including blood draws, vaccine administration, and medication preparationMaintain a clean, organized, and sterile surgical environmentRequired Qualifications :
Minimum 2 years of experience as a veterinary technician with a strong focus on surgery / anesthesiaProficient in IV catheter placement, anesthesia induction, maintenance, and recoveryComfortable monitoring patients under anesthesia and responding to changesFamiliarity with standard vaccines and wellness protocols for dogs and catsStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentPreferred Qualifications :
Certification as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, RVT) is strongly preferredExperience in a high-volume practice is a plusKnowledge of electronic medical records and veterinary practice softwareBenefits : Financial Benefits
