Brentwood Hospital is looking for a dynamic Chief Executive Officer (COO) to join our team of professionals who are dedicated to providing help and hope to individuals and families for the achievement of improving their mental health as a local pain management clinic. The Chief Executive Officer (COO) directs assigned departments and participates in the general management of the hospital in close support of the CEO achieving facility operating and clinical objectives in accordance with sound general management principles, regulatory and accreditation standards and in support of the organization’s overall mission, philosophy, and goals.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
- Directs the activities and management of assigned departments to ensure that each department fulfills its mission and business objectives.
- Participates in strategic business and financial planning and management that includes capital operations budget preparation, forecasting, and monitoring.
- Develops productive working relationships in the health care community that includes health care providers, regulatory and accreditation bodies, and medical / physician staff.
- Provides leadership for facility-wide initiatives and programs such as CQI, risk management, loss control and other task forces to implement practices that affect multiple components of the hospital organization.
- Serves as Administrator-on-call as required. May serve as interim CEO for periods of extended absences such as vacations, leaves of absence, and Group CEO site-visits to other UHS facilities.
- Presents regular reports on the status of the facility operations to the Governing Board, CEO, Medical Executive Committee and others as assigned by CEO.
- Supports the organizations strategic business development efforts; demonstrates behavior that reflects favorably on the hospital’s and corporations’ public image; complies with request to speak publicly or make presentation regarding the hospital’s services; participates as requested, in the development & implementation of short-term and long-term goals and objectives; demonstrates an understanding of department’s role in hospital’s mission and service delivery plan
- Responsible for the hiring, onboarding, and direct supervision of assigned department leaders.
- Performs other duties as assigned / required for the benefit of the hospital mission.

Qualifications
Education : Bachelor's Degree in related field required; Master's degree in related field preferred.Experience : 8- years of supervisory and administrative experience in inpatient and outpatient mental health settings required; + year's experience related field preferred.
